Details

User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; Win64; x64; rv:126.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/126.0

Steps to reproduce:

I watch a VOD on Twitch https://www.twitch.tv/videos/2163371540

or a video on Youtube.

And skip through the video

Actual results:

The video pauses sometimes. And I have to click "play".

Expected results:

The video should keep playing.

It's only happening with my Bose 45, not with cable speaker.
In Chrome it works with both.

I use Windows 11 and bluetooth driver "MediaTek Bluetooth driver ver:1.930.0.251"

The Bugbug bot thinks this bug should belong to the 'Core::Audio/Video: Playback' component, and is moving the bug to that component. Please correct in case you think the bot is wrong.

Component: Untriaged → Audio/Video: Playback
Product: Firefox → Core
Severity: -- → S3

if "media.hardwaremediakeys.enabled" is "false" the problem is gone

I also have the same issue on Firefox with bluetooth headphones pausing/stuttering the video playback. Tested with new profile, in troubleshoot mode, still happening. Also verified this issue is not happening on Chromium based browsers.
