Steps to reproduce:

On Debian sid/unstable with thunderbird 1:115.11.0-1, receive a message from a colleague.

Actual results:

The subject is unaligned – small space in the beginning – in the message overview.

Expected results:

All subjects should be properly aligned.

Unfortunately, I am unable to share the messages.

Subject: =?UTF-8?Q?_Einladung_und_Erg=C3=A4nzung_der_Tagesordnung_f=C3=BCr_d?=
 =?UTF-8?Q?ie_Sitzung_des_Betriebsrates_am=3A_11=2E06=2E2024?=

A second one, with the original message forwarded, so only Fwd: appended, does not show the problem.

The original message has a space before Einladung, so this is not a surprise.

I had another example, and now saw, what originally confused me. In the message view, the leading space is stripped/ignored. I created bug 1903290 1 for this very minor annoyance.
