In bug 1581796 we implemented a UI to generate a Certificate Signing Request for S/MIME certificates.

This bug tracks additional suggested improvements.

  • The selection dialogs, which offer choices of algorithm and strength,
    should use radio buttons
  • All dialogs that are part of the flow should offer back and continue buttons

Open question:
Instead of using modal dialogs, is it worth using an in-content page instead?

The modal context allows for acute focus and a narrower scope for UX ask
