User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Android 14; Mobile; rv:127.0) Gecko/127.0 Firefox/127.0

Steps to reproduce:

Every now and then the browser tab content and toolbar will hang. You can still tap the tab button at the bottom and bring up the tab list, and that works, so the browser isn't completely frozen, but if I switch tab, the toolbar and content area still shows the tab I was previously on, and are frozen. I haven't found a way to trigger it, it seems to just happen when the browser has been running for a while.

Hey, thanks for the report.
Can you still reproduce it, and if yes, do you consistently face it on specific websites?

Can you describe more precisely what you mean by "the toolbar hangs"?

If you can still reproduce it, could you please take a profile and share it here?

For that, you need to:

  • Open Settings in Nightly, then "About Firefox Nightly", and then tap repeatedly on the Firefox icon until "Debug menu enabled" is shown at the bottom of your screen
  • Scroll down on the Settings screen, and tap "Start Profiler". Then click on the "Start profiler" button on the dialog that shows (keep the default option, "Firefox", selected)
  • Reproduce the bug
  • Open settings, scroll down and tap "Stop profiler", and then "Upload profile"
  • The profile url will be copied into your clipboard, paste it into a comment here.

Thanks for your help here.

Don't recall seeing this issue anymore as of late.

I'll close it then. Thank you for your answer.
