Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.0; en-US; rv:1.2.1) Gecko/20021130
When receiving an e-mail with the alias of the e-mail containing a character
with a diacritic, the names are parsed and displayed incorrectly on the viewer.
For example, I got the following ( by clicking on the e-mail and "View ->
Message Source". In the CC field it shows:
Cc: "' Benoît Catalan'" <b.catalan@somewhere.com>, someone@somewhere.com,
"'Raquel Hernandez'" <raquel.hernandex@somewhere.com>
The above names and e-mail altered a-bit to hide their identities. But
essentially, when the e-mail is clicked and viewed, the Cc line shows like this:
Cc: ' Beno???????????????????????????????????????????????'
1) The i with a diacritic on top after Beno is not correctly "parsed" and showed
as questions mark.
2) The rest of the names and e-mail addresses in the Cc line is not displayed
but also shown as questions marks.
Other relevant headers on the e-mail are:
Content-type: text/plain; charset=iso-8859-1
Content-Transfer-Encoding: 8bit
Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
Using Modern Theme.
Setting either the preferred character coding in Preferences -> Navigator ->
Languages to either iso-8869-1 or utf-8 has no effect on the bug.

Jesus Salvo, is this bug still an issue for you? Have you upgraded to a more
current version of Mozilla (1.3 or 1.4)?
