User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i586; en-US; rv:1.3b) Gecko/20030122 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i586; en-US; rv:1.3b) Gecko/20030122 In the lower right corner of the Message Filters window, there is a functionless graphical element, a kind of border. Although this useless thing is there, a regular close button is missing. I had to close the window by using the close button of the xwindow and not a button within mozilla. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Start Mozilla 2. Open the 'Mail & News' window 3. Open menü 'Tools', choose 'Message Filters' Actual Results: Unhelpful lines in the lower right corner. Mozilla close button is lacking. Expected Results: Offer a close button.
The graphical element is not useless. It indicates when a filter is running. However it is not clear and I wondered also what its function was, until I saw it animating when I ran a filter. Furtermore, I would also like to see a close button on the message filter window.
The lines were the outlines of a statusbar, now fixed (bug 169938) The close button was deliberatly removed, bug 176157 *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of 176157 ***
