Details
User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64; rv:129.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/129.0
Steps to reproduce:
- Opened this site (bugzilla.mozilla.org)
- Entered my password and verified I am logged in
- Verify my preference to delete cookies and site data upon closing
- Quit firefox by selecting the X at the upper right
- Opened firefox
- navigated to bugzilla.mozilla.org
Actual results:
I was still logged and am filing this bug. I also verified my preference remains "Delete cookies and site data when Nightly is closed".
Expected results:
Upon starting a new firefox, I should have had my cookies and site data cleaned, that would have included the credentials needed to log into Bugzilla.

The Bugbug bot thinks this bug should belong to the 'Toolkit::Password Manager' component, and is moving the bug to that component. Please correct in case you think the bot is wrong.

I can no longer reproduce the problem.
Somehow a copy of nightly was hung up getting an update. Because of that, nightly was still considered active, even though I could completely get out and then get back in, always using the same profile. Once I did a kill on the hung firefox, getting back in does cause cookies and site data to be cleared.
