When you hover on the Weather widget in Newtab page, you can see link to accuweather with a http protocol. It should be https.

I was able to reproduce the issue on Win11x64 using FF build 127.0.1 ( I used the settings mentioned in this bug 1896857).
Marking issue as New.
Status: UNCONFIRMED → NEW

Reached out to the DISCO team which will create a fix in the merino API, will update ticket when that work is finished.
