Although the password manager appears to be saving and pre-filling passwords, it
is not displaying them in the password manager.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Start Mozilla.
2. Look in the Password Manager.
Actual Results:  
There are no listings.

Expected Results:  
Passwords should be listed.

I searched for duplicates using "password manager show", "password manager
display", and "password manager empty" and found none.

I suspect that this is a misunderstanding. The reporter says that passwords are
not listed, which they, indeed, aren't, and I doubt they ever were (not a
regression) or are on Linux. The password manager is working fine, it just
doesn't have a "password" column.

I suppose that this is intentional ("security" through obscurity). I hate it
too, though. It doesn't really offer any real security, and sometimes it would
be very handy to see the stored passwords.

Reporter, please clarify if this is really what you meant.

Vaclav: It was a miscommunication.  The passwords not being shown is a different
enhancement bug.  What I meant was that the sites and user names for which
passwords were being stored are nto appearing in the Manage Passwords dialog.

And to clarify:
The sites and user names for which passwords were being stored ARE appearing in
the Manage Passwords dialog, testing with a current trunk CVS build, Linux.
Can you please try a new build?

Okay, sorry. As a courtesy to a future searcher, that rfe (showing the
passwords, not just usernames) is bug 78754.

WFM.  2003012404 / XP.  I see 24 sites listed under "Manage Stored Passwords".

I think this was a temporary regression due to the way Mozilla handled strings.
 It works now.
