1904542 - Links ending with "-" characters do not include the "-"

Steps to reproduce:

I had a Google Drive share link ending with this:
8oPu--

And the "--" is not part of the link in my SENT MAILS (and also on receiving side).

In my sent mails, this is separated from the URL in both HTML and TEXT mode edited mail.

Actual results:

Link ends with the last letter before the "--". Same happens with 1 "-" character.

Expected results:

Include the whole link in the link, in both text and HTML formats. I can't see that "-" would be a non-accepted character in Path component:
https://www.rfc-editor.org/rfc/rfc3986#section-3.3

I'm using Thunderbird 115 on current Ubuntu Linux, the default Ubuntu package.
