Details
User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; PPC Mac OS X; en-us) AppleWebKit/48 (like Gecko) Safari/48
Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; PPC Mac OS X; en-US; rv:1.2.1) Gecko/20021130
The "Open Web Location..." and "Open File..." menu items in the File menu change the location of the current window. If there is no current window -- that is, if I have closed all of Mozilla's windows, but Mozilla is still the active application and its menus still appear in the menu bar -- then, after I press the "Open" button in the dialog box, nothing happens.
Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Launch Mozilla.2. Close all of Mozilla's windows. Do not switch to to another application; "Mozilla" must still appear in the menu bar.3. Select "Open Web Location..." from Mozilla's File menu. An "Open Web Location" dialog box will appear (in a new window, not by sliding out from the title bar of an existing window).4. Type "www.w3c.org" in the text field, and click on the "Open" button. The dialog box closes.
Actual Results:
Nothing. (Then I curse, open a new navigator window, and start over).
Expected Results:
Open a new window, since there wasn't one lying around to re-use.
