Bug 73322 comment from nicu@apsro.com 2003-01-22 02:40... i think is useful to have more feedback when the image was automatically resized, some icon or message in the status bar can do the job Since we will allow toggling resize all the time, people might want a more direct notification that it has been resized than having to check the context menu. Currently, the image starts loading full-size and then is shrunk, so a user would know. We can't assume that's how its always going to be though. Therefore we might as well fix this now. Jan, do you think that is appropriate?

is possible that the user don't know, example: the image is opened in background in another tab

Is showing "[Resized]" in the title also a good idea?

I think this is not a good idead according comment 1. We do have a status feedback now, see bug 195481.
