User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.3a) Gecko/20021212
Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.3a) Gecko/20021212
1. Installation from the webpage proceeds without any problems - done as root
2. Open Mozilla - as non-root user
3. The browser window appears, but if I try to open any component of Mozilla
that requires a new window (such as a new browser window, the mail/news client,
address book, chatzilla, calendar, etc) nothing happens.
Note 1: as a root user, this problem does not occur.
Note 2: as a non-root user, I can open non-browser component of Mozilla by
specifying the command line switch, but once that component of Mozilla is opened
up, I cannot open any other window from there either.
Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
Actual Results:
No new windows will open
Expected Results:
A new window should open containing the requested mozilla component

Please chown the directory to yourself before installing calendar, and then
always run as yourself. The permissions for files are incorrect when running
the calendar as yourself, if you've installed it as root.

Same symptoms still occur after doing
as root> chown my_username:my_group -R /usr/local/mozilla

What I did before installing Mozilla is to create the /usr/local/mozilla
directory first, then chown that directory to myself. Then, install Mozilla and
then install the calendar.
