I've read https://wiki.mozilla.org/GitHub#Team_Maintainers_.26_Project_Leads, and need help adding a contributor to the org:

I am requesting access to get project capabilities in the org. I would like to create a github project for a repo that I manage. I was also told that I'm currently listed as an outside contributor in the repos I have access to. I am a mozilla employee.
Here are the repos I have access to and should not be listed as an outside contributor.
mozilla/blurts-server
mozilla/fx-private-relay
mozilla/multi-account-containers
mozilla-l10n/fx-private-relay-l10n

So, "Outside Collaborator" has nothing to do with employee status - It's merely "you're not a member of the overall GitHub organization, but have specific elevated access to these repos.
You mention "Mozilla" org in the title, and from the slack conversation, you'd wanted project capabilities in that org. Did you also need membership to the mozilla-l10n org? Again, it's not necessary to be a member in order to work on specific repos - it's only if you want to do org level things (like projects) that you need to be a member.
Once we've got that sorted out, I can send out the invites.

Thanks for the details around the outside collaborator. I don't need membership to the mozilla-l10n org at this time. For the specific details, I'm trying to create a Github project here (https://github.com/orgs/mozilla/projects) that would be used in this repo (https://github.com/mozilla/multi-account-containers).

Ok, thanks.
You will be getting two invites. First from people.m.o invites to the group ghe_mozilla_users - please accept this before proceeding.
Next, from GitHub to whatever email address you have associated with your GitHub account. The invites to the Mozilla org(s) - once you accept these and sign into GitHub you'll be a member of the org(s), and the requested teams.
If you can't find that GitHub invite, go to the following link and next to the desired organization name, there should be an option to accept an invite. https://github.com/settings/organizations
Note that invites expire after a week, and so if you need things re-sent please update this bug.
