The Bugbug bot thinks this bug should belong to the 'Firefox::Bookmarks & History' component, and is moving the bug to that component. Please correct in case you think the bot is wrong.

Hello, thank you for the bug report!
Unfortunately I could not reproduce your issue. Would you be so kind as to answer a few questions so we can investigate this further?
- Does this issue happen with a new profile? Here is a link on how to create one: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/profile-manager-create-remove-switch-firefox-profiles
- Does this issue happen with latest nightly? Here is a link from where you can download it: https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/channel/desktop/
- Does this issue happen when Firefox is in Troubleshoot Mode? Here’s a link on how to enable it: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/diagnose-firefox-issues-using-troubleshoot-mode#w_how-to-start-firefox-in-troubleshoot-mode

After installing the nightly build today I was able to remove the duplicate. Can't find anywhere to add an extra bookmarks menu.

Can you please check to see on the affected build if you can still reproduce the issue if the Troubleshoot Mode is active? Here’s a link on how to enable it: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/diagnose-firefox-issues-using-troubleshoot-mode#w_how-to-start-firefox-in-troubleshoot-mode.

(In reply to Oana Botisan, Desktop QA from comment #4)

I don't have the affected build left, I have updated Firefox.

If the issue is not reproducing anymore then I will close this bug as WORKSFORME. Feel free to file another one if the issue reappears.
But before you do, try to open the affected build in Troubleshoot Mode, because this might be an add-on issue.
