Details
User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Android 14; Mobile; rv:128.0) Gecko/128.0 Firefox/128.0
Steps to reproduce:
On a Win 10 PC, send a tab to the Firefox on your Android phone
Actual results:
On Android phone, Android notification appears that tab is received, but the sent tab does neither appear when tapping on that notification nor when browsing through the open tabs. Works fine the other way around though (sending from Android to Win 10)
Expected results:
Tab should instantly appear in the tab list (very top left of Fenix UI when tapping on tabs icon)
Edit: the issue is the tab only appears in Fenix when user taps on the notification, not when having Fenix open and just waiting.

This is intentional - the idea is to not disrupt the user's flow by unexpectedly opening a tab while they are doing something else and also because opening the tab might end up opening a different app entirely (eg, a maps.google.com link might open in the maps app). Bug 1904405 is calling for the tab to open without user interaction if the notification is disabled, but that's subtly different - if the notification is enabled the user must tap the notification to see the tab.
