User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.0; en-US; rv:1.3b) Gecko/20030125 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.0; en-US; rv:1.3b) Gecko/20030125 On many occasions the animated new mail alert "shade" stays stuck in the lower right hand corner. Eventually it does seem to disappear, retracting little by little with every screen refresh (I can force a refresh of that area by raising and lowering my "auto-hide" taskbar). This only starts to happen after serveral minutes of hanging there though. Clicking the link to the new message doesn't seem to expidite things at all, nor does marking the new messages as read. Reproducible: Sometimes Steps to Reproduce: I can't seem to figure out specific steps to cause this to happen, but it is getting "stuck" rather frequently.
Ian Brandt, is this bug still an issue for you? Have you upgraded to a more current version of Mozilla (1.3 Final or 1.4)?
Hi, Sorry for the delay. I turned the feature off after I filed the bug, and never looked back. After re-enabling it a week ago in 1.4RC3 it seems to no longer be an issue. Thanks! Ian
