Details

Currently the only indicator for the active tab in sidebar tabs is the gray box shadow, but we also need to change the color too (bright white on light theme and light gray on dark theme). Currently it stays with the same color on light theme and slightly-light gray on dark theme, which makes it harder to notice, especially on dark theme)

Bug 1886847 doesn't seem to cover this (my local build with D216748 shows the same behavior).

The styling for vertical tabs is addressed in bug 1899336.
