Steps to reproduce:

Tag a message with any tag. For example "Important".
The email subject in card view should be colored red.

Actual results:

The email subject in card view stays dark grey with no color.
In table view it is colored.
In TB 115 card view it was colored.
In TB 128 card view it's not colored.

Expected results:

In TB 115 when you tagged a message the subject in the message list was colored by the tag's color. This was very easy to identify all messages tagged by color.

This feature is gone in 128. Only the tiny tag flag has a color and its not easy to spot which messages are tagged, unless you use filters -> tagged.

The whole point of tags is to make them stand out by priority to alert you to take action.

Summary: Email subject in card list is no longer colored with the tagged color → Email subject in Card View is no longer colored with the tagged color

This was done to get a cleaner UI. The tags are now on bottom right shown.

Thank you!

This is something we allow achieving with a simple CSS tweak so add-ons developers or anyone can tweak to their liking, but by default we're aiming at keeping a cleaner UI for cards view (table view behaves the same), especially in order to avoid a11y issues for color blind users.
We're also exploring some further improvements to make those tag icons more prominent.
