Details
User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/127.0.0.0 Safari/537.36
Steps to reproduce:
I am on Debian 12, I use Firefox ESR which comes with my OS, I added Firefox in Flatpack version and the standard version of Firefox via the official Mozilla repository (packages.mozilla.org).
Actual results:
With Firefox ESR version and Firefox version from Mozilla repository automatic translation does not work
With Firefox Flatpack version, it works ?!
The translation button is also very poorly located ;-( It is on the right of the browser in the "application menu", whereas it should be accessible as for Chromium via the right mouse button!!! The current situation is extremely disabling for everyday use ;-(
Expected results:
Translation should be automatic in all cases.
The user interface should be more accessible and more functional.

The Bugbug bot thinks this bug should belong to the 'Core::Widget: Gtk' component, and is moving the bug to that component. Please correct in case you think the bot is wrong.
