Steps to reproduce
Go to device settings.
Change the device theme to dark mode.
Open 'Firefox'.
Search something using the 'Google' search engine.
Expected Behavior:
Google should display in dark theme immediately after Firefox switches to dark mode.
Actual Behavior:
In step 3, Firefox switches to dark mode successfully, but in step 4, the Google page still displays in light theme.
Approximately 2 hours later, the Google page automatically switches to dark theme.
Notes:
After switching the theme to light mode, Firefox updates immediately, but Google remains in dark theme.

I was able to reproduce this issue on all the latest versions of Firefox for Android: 131.0, Beya 131.0b9, and Nightly 132.0a1 from 9/24.
Tested with Google Pixel 6 (Android 15), and Samsung Galaxy S24 (Android 14).
The first Google search displayed the light themed page with the results.
Tapping on the "x" from the search field and searching for a different term, displayed the dark themed page with the results, as can be seen in the attached short video.
I'll confirm and update this ticket.
