Hello cknowles et al,

I've moved over to the ads team and I need membership on some teams in order to be able to contribute.

Name: Eric Fixler
Mozilla Email: efixler@mozilla.com
Github Profile link: https://github.com/efixler
Github Team(s) REQUIRED:
https://github.com/orgs/mozilla-services/teams/ads-engineering
https://github.com/orgs/mozilla/teams/ads-engineering
https://github.com/orgs/mozilla-sre-deploy/teams/ads-engineering
https://github.com/orgs/mozilla-it/teams/ads-engineering
https://github.com/orgs/Pocket/teams/ads

If this is not being requested by a team maintainer, please request their approval via need-info.

I've NI'd Daniel Mueller as a maintainer on these teams.

Alright - you're already a member of mozilla-services and pocket orgs - I've added you to the requested teams there. (and any team maintainer could do the same)

For ORGNAME = mozilla, mozilla-it, mozilla-sre-deploy

You will be getting two invites. First from people.m.o invites to the group ghe_ORGNAME_users - please accept this before proceeding.
Next, from GitHub to whatever email address you have associated with your GitHub account. The invites to the ORGNAME org(s) - once you accept these and sign into GitHub you'll be a member of the org(s), and the requested teams.

If you can't find that GitHub invite, go to the following link and next to the desired organization name, there should be an option to accept an invite. https://github.com/settings/organizations

Note that invites expire after a week, and so if you need things re-sent please update this bug.

Once you’re signed into the org, there may be some changes you need to make if you use PAT/SSH/gh cli/other-tools - directions for that live here: https://wiki.mozilla.org/GitHub/GHE_SAML_User_FAQ#Alright.2C_I.27ve_SAML.27d_what_now.3F

Please let us know if there's any questions or concerns

Thanks, Chris.

I am (hilariously) unable to join the Mozilla group, I think (based on the Mozilla wiki landing page) that that may be because I'm missing the relevant mozillians_ghe_***_users entry:

Here's a screenshot:

https://p201.p0.n0.cdn.zight.com/items/7KuNJqr5/5b2b9539-ef26-407d-bd07-5d354dabd719.png?v=%22153b93e699b2dde42a69998fc9df2fad%22

I was also not able to join mozilla-sre-deploy which I think might be the same issue. I was able to join mozilla-it.

So, I sent you the invites to the ghe_mozilla_users, ghe_mozilla-sre-deploy_users groups. And just verified that the invites from people.m.o are still listed as pending.

if you aren't seeing the people.m.o invites in your inbox, you can go to your profile on people.mozilla.org - and accept the pending invites. THEN you should be able to accept the github invites.

Chris -- thank you. All I can say is...derp - I think I'm in. Sorry and thanks!

Nope, no apologies - this multiple invite system isn't super easy - happy to help, and glad you're in.
