Set the pref browser.navigation.requireUserInteraction = true.
Steps to reproduce
- Navigate to: https://www.mlb.com/tv/g632367?affiliateId=SCORES
- In the same tab, navigate to https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/msoffice/forum/all/account-locked-for-weeks-no-reasonnotice-and-no/04bc4b41-a70d-4b5a-b494-7488379b1e7c
- Navigate to https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/topic/windows-10-update-assistant-3550dfb2-a015-7765-12ea-fba2ac36fb3f in the same tab.
- Long tap on the history back arrow and observe.
Actual result
The "https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/topic/windows-10-update-assistant-3550dfb2-a015-7765-12ea-fba2ac36fb3f " appear duplicate in the history.
Expected result
There are no duplicate entries in the history.

Firefox version: Nightly 131.0a1 from 23.08.2024
Android device model: Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra (Android 14)

This issue is also reproducible with SHIP enabled.

This also affects Nightly on Desktop across platforms (Windows 11, macOS 13.6 and Ubuntu 22.04).
It appears to be only an issue in displaying 2 entries in the history from the back button, checking in the History menu from Application Menu or Library there is only 1 entry displayed. Also checked the places.sqlite and again, only 1 entry.
