seen on commercial trunk builds:
windows 2003-01-31-04-trunk
linux 2003-01-31-05-trunk
mac machO 2003-01-31-03-trunk
mac osx 2003-01-31-03-trunk
-goto test url, sourceforge.net
tested results: security warning dialog appears (if you haven't turned it off).
Dismiss it, then a Domain Name Mismatch dialog appears. Dismiss it, then another
security warning dialog appears, dismiss it, then the page loads with lock icon
broken/red.
Note: the order of these dialogs appearing varied from platform to platform, but
the end result was always that the locked icon becomes broken/red.
expected results: security warning dialog appears (if you haven't turned it
off). Dismiss it, then the page loads with lock icon locked.
I was not able reproduce this on any platform by going to https://www.verisign.com

Unfortunately I'm unable to reproduce.
Tracy, did you simply go to https://sourceforge.net ?
I just tried using commercial linux 2003-01-31-05-trunk from sweetlou, and I
only see one warning, about entering the secure site, and then the pages
finishes loading without further warnings. I have all warnings turned on.

as of todays builds, I am only able to reproduce this on mac osx. Windows, linux
and mac MachO builds aren't displaying this bug.

Today's MachO build works fine for me, too.
With macosX build, I can't even connect to sourceforge.net at all!
It stalls.

I see the stalling with osx at sourceforge also. But the page eventually loads
with the expected secure page dialog.
