Environment:

Firefox version: Firefox 129.0.1 (release)

Preconditions:

  • ETP set to STRICT
  • Clean profile

Steps to reproduce:

  1. Navigate to: https://www.invisiblefence.com/shelter-to-forever-home-contest
  2. Click on the "Star a Chat" button located in the page header and observe

Expected Behavior:
Chat pop-up is triggered

Actual Behavior:
Nothing happens

Notes:

  • Not reproducible with ETP STANDARD/turned OFF (both Normal and Private Browsing)
  • Reproducible on the latest Nightly
  • Chat provided by "BLUEBOT"

Can not reproduce on Firefox Release 133.0 (aarch64) on macOS, ETP "strict". The chat button works and shows a popup. Could you please confirm whether this is still reproducible?

Flags: needinfo?(rbucata)

This also works for me, regardless of the ETP setting

Browser / Version: Firefox Release 133.0 (64-bit)/ Firefox Nightly 135.0a1 (2024-12-02) (64-bit)
Operating System: Windows 10 PRO x64
