In ChatZilla prefs panel for "Startup", if you click on "Add..." for Autoconnect
Servers/Networks/Views, the first radio button says "Connect to a server or
network", the description lable for it says "Enter the host name
(irc.myserver.com) or the IP address (127.1.2.3) of the server:" though.
This label should also mention network name:
"Enter the network name (moznet), host name (irc.myserver.com) or the IP address
(127.1.2.3) of the server:"

I'm not sure though if we have to mention IP address there...

Currently, it simply says "Enter item to add", since it accepts irc urls.

Is this clear enough? I think it would not be a very intuitive dialog if we
tried to explain the entire syntax of irc urls (which is basically what you can
enter in that prompt). I think the current dialog is good the way it is.

Reporter, if you'd still like to see a change made to this, will you please
reply to this bug again?
Comment #0 and comment #1 are actually refering to different dialogs. (Comment
#0, the old one, comment #1, the new one).

The new preferences window still needs a lot of work done to it, though. I don't
believe the msg "Enter item to add" is clear at all, which is why I'm working on
the updated preferences window... but I'm not sure what to do with this bug. The
original report is for a dialog we no longer use at all.
OK, I re-checked (I filed the bug because someone was complaining about the
localized version in the dependent bug) and it seems you're right, the new
dialog's wording seems not too user-friendly (as said in comment #2) but the
issue descibed here seems to have been gone for a long time now.

I'll mark this and the depending one as INVALID because it is now...
