- Apply the attaching patch on your local cloned m-c (the patch modifies bug1448730.html to apply inputmode="none" to elements in the HTML file)
- Run test_bug1448730.html with xorigin option, i.e. ./mach mochitest --enable-xorigin-tests layout/base/tests/test_bug1448730.html
See whether the software keyboard appears or not. On my local Android emulator 7.0, the software keyboard appears. That's odd.
(I am unsure this is an issue in GeckoView or in Gecko)
