User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Win 9x 4.90; en-US; rv:1.2.1) Gecko/20021130 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Win 9x 4.90; en-US; rv:1.2.1) Gecko/20021130 When I have looked at a page (on either the web or my hard drive) and the image has been cached and then I change the image, the old image persists and the reload button will not display the new version of the image. The only way I can see the new image is to shut down Mozilla and restart it. Then it will refresh the new image. This happens on Windows ME and Windows XP. I have only noticed the problem when the old and new images are the same size. It may or may not exist if the image changes size. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Place an image on a web page. 2. View it. 3. Modify the image without shuting down Mozilla. 4. View it again. 5. Push the Reload Button. Actual Results: The old image still shows. Expected Results: Show the modified image. Classic Theme
What is your cache pref set to? With default settings, a reload will reload from cache. To bypass cache: use shift+reload
