Steps to reproduce
- Open a new tab
- Go to a website
- Click on the back button on the system navigation bar / do a predictive back gesture. Notice that the back button on the app navigation bar is greyed out.
Expected behavior
Not sure because on one hand, it is confusing for system back to navigate to a past "page" whereas the app back cannot. On the other hand, if system back / predictive back closes the app, this may be confusing for the user as they came from the homepage.
Actual behavior
System back / predictive back goes back to the homepage. User cannot click on app back as it is greyed out.
Device information
- Firefox version: 131
- Android device model: Samsung A35
- Android OS version: Android 14
