Lately, every time I log a new bug in GitHub a scam message is automatically added.
Together with my PM we deleted those messages from GitHub but they persist in Jira and need to be deleted separately.
My Jira account is alinamoldovan84
The scam messages come each time from another account (please see the attached screenshots).

Here is a ticket example: https://mozilla-hub.atlassian.net/browse/FXIOS-9858

This bug component is only able to work on the GitHub side of things. And the "tools" github makes available to admins aren't sizably better than yours - I can delete the comment, and I can block the user. You've already done the first ... and for the last two of the spam - the users have already been deleted (hopefully by GitHub).

I am going to file a support case with GitHub with "We're getting lots of reports of scam/spam messages on new issues from an ever changing list of new users" and mention that first user. (who has changed their description to "24/8/27 MY ACCOUNT HAS BEEN HACKED BY A VIRUS PLZ IGNORE THE LINKS I SEND!!!" ... which is odd)

If this is to remove the jira issues - that probably needs to be aimed at the jira admins. I know they live in slack at #jira-support --- I'll ask there if they have any guidance on where/how to proceed.

If you see more messages like this in GitHub, you are always welcome to file at support.github.com - If you'd like us to take a look - we'd need the org/repo, and the issue# involved.

Let me know if you have any questions.

Silly me - Nevermind my "file a case" advice to you (I'm still filing mine, as I want to make SURE they're aware) ... per github - you should report spam for the comment... https://docs.github.com/en/communities/maintaining-your-safety-on-github/reporting-abuse-or-spam

And I've poked the Jira admins for where you should go for help with the jira side of things, and will report back if/when I have info there.

Thank you! I will report the comment when I encounter this incident again

GitHub completed their review of the specific cases and blocked/removed the users.

They did not comment on any wider concerns.

They recommend continuing to report comments when they happen.
