User-Agent:       Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Win98; en-US; rv:1.3a) Gecko/20021212
Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Win98; en-US; rv:1.3a) Gecko/20021212

After logging in to my Yahoo email account, the proceeding page (and any page
within the YahooMail system) keeps continuously reloading. It seems that as soon
as one of the ads has loaded, it then goes on right away to load the next ad.
The problem is the browser will reload not just the ad but the whole page. The
only way to stop this is by hitting the "stop" button on the browser. Then, I
can access the various links within the Yahoomail system. But as soon as you
enter another page within the system, the ad/page-reloading starts all over
again. This does not happen at log-in or log-out, only after logging in to the
system. This started happening to me within the last day (Feb 2 2003).

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1.Go to Yahoo.com
2.Click the Email link
3.Log in

Actual Results:
As soon as the next page loads (the main mail page) the problem occurs.

Expected Results:
Just reloaded the ad and not the whole page itself.
Meh? The ads don't seem to refresh at all. I don't see a refresh tag on the
page, besides

<noscript>
<meta HTTP-EQUIV yadda yadda for the no-js users>
</noscript>

which doesn't refresh the page continously.

WFM 2003012110 linux
IT doesn't happen to me

I use the exact same browser and OS as you
are you part of SBC YAhoo! DSL? I am, maybe that's why it won't happen to me
Ilya: The ISP shouldn't make a difference.

-> RESOLVED WORKSFORME [two reports of WFM, one on native OS]
Reporter: Try a newer build of mozilla, or a fresh profile. If the problem still
persists, feel free to REOPEN this bug.

I'm not saying ISP:
I'm saying that sometimes SBC Y! subscribers have a different interface

BTW:
SHE/HE HAS 1.3a, HOW MUCH NEWER CAN YOU GO??

I have 2002121215, instead of 20021212, is that newer then???
daily builds. also, the second option was TRY IT WITH A CLEAN PROFILE (should've
been the first, I admit), so that should also help.
I agree with the resolution

I still can't seem to reproduce this.

Reporter: Can you still reproduce this with a recent build (1.3b)?
Does the URL change when the page gets reloaded?

In Preferences, Advanced, Scripts & Plugins: are scripts allowed to read/set
cookies?
