missing download status while getting new messages (for POP mail, at least)

While getting new POP messages, the status bar text showing download status, like
Downloading message ... of ...
No new messages on server
are not shown anymore. Now, the only messages shown are
Sending request to ...
Transfering data from ...
which doesn't say much. I think the old status messages were so useful, because
they let you know how many messages were there on server (if any).
Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Open MailNews
2. Hit on Get Msgs
3. Try to find how many messages are being downloaded

This bug is the same as bug 190744, which was marked as duplicate
