Details
[Affected versions]:
- Firefox Release 130
[Affected Platforms]:
- Android 13
[Prerequisites]:
-Have the Firefox Release 130 version installed.
- Have the region set to us, de or fr.
- Have the language en, de or fr.
- Have the nimbus-cli tool installed.
- Have adb (cli) installed on your device.
- Have a device with USB or Wifi debugging enabled and connected to the device on which you installed nimbus-cli.
- Have the nimbus-cli path added into the environment variable.
[Steps to reproduce]:
- Open the cmd/terminal window and run the nimbus-cli command to enroll in the rollout:
nimbus-cli --app fenix --channel release enroll preview/microsurvey-android-homepage-csat-2024-v2 --branch survey --no-validate
. - After Firefox is opened, dismiss the Onboarding screen.
- Move the time to at least 24 hours in the future using the device’s settings.
- Close Firefox and wait for at least 3 minutes.
- Open Firefox and observe the behavior.
[Expected result]:
- The microsurvey is not triggered.
[Actual result]:
- The microsurvey is triggered.
