Steps to reproduce:

I tried clicking on various elements on web pages on Netflix and on Disney+ on my Mac. For example, I tried clicking the Search icon/button or I tried clicking on thumbnails of movies and tv shows.

Actual results:

nothing happened: Search interface did not come up in Netflix. clicking movie/show thumbnails on Netflix/Disney+ pages does nothing. clicking some buttons seemed to do something in terms of opening a new menu or button option. but clicking on that new option/button also produces no effect. so cannot select or play anything on these two sites.

And I should note that, last night, I did NOT have any of these issues with either Netflix or Disney+ in Firefox browser. Only today, after some kind of automatic update, I assume, did this issue appear. Assuming, because I saw new "What's New in Firefox" tab that wasn't there last night. Think it said something about tabs feature. Not sure!

Expected results:

lol. well, clicking on these page elements should have produced the usual results: search interface should open, allowing me to enter a search term, for example. If I click on a movie/show thumbnail on Netflix or Disney, I usually get some kind of pop up or new page displaying details about that show, as well as the option to start playing the show. none of this is possible, as of this morning.

so I need to figure out how to stop those automatic updates, since I don't need any new features and was perfectly happy with Firefox, before last update! note that I had to actually copy/paste bug report link from firefox to safari, and sending this from safari, since this web page also won't work in Firefox.

I will continue to see if anything I can do on my side (like rebooting my computer).

for some reason, after going back to Firefox, everything seems to be back to normal. no idea why I lost almost all site interactivity for a while, after starting browser today. again, looks like some update happened, when I opened browser. anyway, very odd, since I didn't even close or restart firefox. just had it running in the background. when I pulled it back to the front, everything was back to normal!
