This article apparently has been deleted for no reason. It's giving a "Page Not Found" error:
- https://web.archive.org/web/20240608190300/https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/accessibility-services
We often link to it on support communities to help users facing random freezes find out if disabling this feature helps them.

Hundreds of threads pointing people to that page now have broken links. Please rewrite it. You can add big warnings addressing James' concerns.

Appreciate you bringing this up, dtsa583s0! I’ll raise it during our next team sync and follow up with you. Could you share a little more background on your request in the meantime?
James mentioned that the accessibility service doesn't cause as many problems as it used to, and that people should be encouraged to file bug reports on Bugzilla instead of disabling features.
That's correct, but someone thanked me for pointing him to that page just a few days ago. Disabling it solved his problem.
Also, most people find it too confusing to create a performance profile (even with step-by-step instructions). Others just don't want to create a Bugzilla account. We try to help them get their issues solved first before telling them to file bug reports.
People trying to fix issues by themselves will also stumble upon years of comments pointing them to a page that currently doesn't exist. If anything, you could've added a notice saying that the page is no longer relevant instead of deleting it altogether.
