while using mozilla pop ups continue to bombard me under the Internet explorer
browser even though i have removed explorer from my computer, the only reason i
switched to mozilla is to avoid these pop ups

Sorry, but if the popups are from internet explorer then you have some kind of
spyware installed in your computer, and this is not a problem in Mozilla.
Just use Adaware to get ride of the malware and keep using mozilla.
