User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; Win64; x64; rv:130.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/130.0

Steps to reproduce:

When option "Container tabs" is enabled and all containers are deleted, context menu entry "Open in new Container tab" is still visible in bookmarks bar and tab bar.

If the feature is enabled and all containers are deleted, context menu entry should be hidden everywhere in the browser. Currently, context menu for hyperlinks doesn't have the same entry, but bookmarks and tab bar do have it.

I don't use Container tabs feature per se though I do use an extension which needs the feature to function, so I can't disable it.

The Bugbug bot thinks this bug should belong to the 'Firefox::Menus' component, and is moving the bug to that component. Please correct in case you think the bot is wrong.

I can also see the 'Open in New Container Tab' option in the context menu when all containers are deleted - tested on the latest Nightly 132.0a1 on macOS 15. However, I believe this is intentional behavior, as the option disappears when 'Enable Container Tabs' feature is disabled.

I really think it should be hidden when all containers are deleted. As I already mentioned, I need the option on because an extension requires it. If it didn't require it, I would disable it.

It's also worth to keep in mind that the same context menu entry isn't available on links on websites, just in bookmarks bar and tab bar. Context menu entry on links is visible when there are containers, but once you delete them all, it disappears. So I'd like to see same behavior everywhere in the browser, in all context menu.

I can still address this in the latest stable version of Firefox (133.0)...

Setting this issue to NEW as I can reproduce it using the latest Nightly 135.0a1 on macOS 15. Since the Enable Container Tabs feature is officially enabled only on Nightly and requires an add-on for other versions, I will only mark Firefox 135 as affected.
