Read mail with 4.5, had 3 unread messages.
Read mail with today's mozilla daily,
messages don't render the unread icon.
Clicking on unread icon (mozilla) does not
change any visual aspect of the icon, but
checking with 4.5 this seems to "uncheck"
the message.
The part about clicking on the unread green diamond and having it not do
anything may be part of bug http://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=17427.
