User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.2.1) Gecko/20021130 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.2.1) Gecko/20021130 Until yesterday I was using Google as my default search engine. It was set several weeks ago and it worked fine until yesterday. Google no longer appears in the drop down box. Only Netscape Search and dmoz.org are valid options. Reproducible: Didn't try Steps to Reproduce: 1. 2. 3. Actual Results: Unable to get the ability back. So cannot reproduce. As a workaround i went to Google's website and am now using their sidebar panel for search functions but this isn't as convinent as being able to type items in the location bar and being able to choose Search using Google
Suggestions: maybe your profile is old and has some corruptions. Creating a new profile usually fixes the problem. Also, if you want to re-install the google search plugin, go to http://mycroft.mozdev.org/ . You'll find google in dozens of languages as well as hundreds other search plugins.
