In previous versions of Thunderbird, one could do a search for a term in the email body, and if that search matches something in the currently displayed email, Thunderbird will scroll to the match, highlighting it in green.

Starting with 128.2.0 (as far as I can tell... at least that was the version I saw when I first noticed the problem), this auto-scrolling to show the match is now no longer 100% reliable (in my testing it's about 50% reliable). In some cases, the scrolling does not happen despite there being a match in the email. In such cases, the status bar that shows the search details will say "1 of 1 match Phrase not found" (assuming there's one match).

On one hand, "1 of 1 match Phrase not found" is self-contradictory. The fact that Thunderbird knows that there's a match proves that "Phrase not found" is incorrect. If I press Cmd-G, Thunderbird will scroll to select/display the matching term.
