Steps to reproduce:
Hello, I use Thunderbird 128.2.1esr (64 bits)
For some messages received in imap mode, I only have the name of the sender. The content is empty and the attachments are not visible. With the Mozilla browser, on my messaging account I can see the complete message.
any idea?
Thanks

Does right clicking the folder and from the folder properties using Repair Folder help? Bug 1890230 perhaps?

Sorry, I'm not the type to keep messages once used, especially if they are unreadable.
The case will happen again, that's for sure, I will be able to answer your question.
In any case, thank you for your reaction.
Hello
no new incidents to note
Thanks all the same

I just did the following manipulations:
On the free Webbmail, I transfer your message to myself.
The reception is correct on the Wembail and on Thunderbird
I do the same manipulation from Thunderbird, and Thunderbird crashes
Hello, a colleague gave me a solution to solve the problem.
In the server's Imap settings, find the directory ..\AppData\Roaming\Thunderbird\Profiles\dln9zkzq.default-release\ImapMail\imap.free.fr.
Make a backup copy, then delete all .MSF files, then reboot Thunderbird. Thunderbird recreates its indexes and everything works.
A solution to the problem is therefore found, not the origin of the bug.
Here is the address where my colleague found the solution

I don't know who should close this sheet, if you can, do it, if not tell me and I will do it
Thanks to all
