• Firefox Beta 131.0b8 (Build ID 20240918092116)

[Affected Platforms]:

• Windows 10 x64
• macOS 14.4
• Ubuntu 22.04 x64

[Prerequisites]:

• Have the "browser.newtabpage.activity-stream.newtabLayouts.variant-b" pref set to true.

[Steps to reproduce]:

1. Open the browser with the profile from the prerequisites.
2. Open a new tab and zoom in as much as possible or resize the browser to the minimum.
3. Observe the Search bar.

[Expected result]:

• All page elements are displayed correctly regardless of zoom level/viewport size.

[Actual result]:

• The search bar overlaps and blocks the Firefox logo and weather widget.

[Notes]:

• The issue is not reproducible using variantA.
• The Firefox icon can also appear under the Pocket cards if the user scrolls down while in this state.

I've verified that this issue is no longer reproducible, the logo no longer overlaps with the searchbar. However, it still overlaps with the Pocket story cards on certain zoom levels depending on the screen size, I've logged bug 1928042 to track this. Marking this one as verified, tested using Firefox Beta 133.0b1 (Build ID 20241028142722) on Windows 11 x64, macOS 14.4 and Ubuntu 22.04 x64.
