Steps to reproduce:

On Fedora 40 install Firefox as flatpak

In settings try to change “save files to” directory from Downloads to Documents

Actual results:

“Save files to” directory stay the same

Expected results:

“Save files to” directory changed to Documents

Component: Untriaged → Widget: Gtk
Product: Firefox → Core
Summary: Can’t change save files directory → Fedora flatpak: Can’t change save files directory
Blocks: flatpak
Priority: -- → P3

Please check the browser.download.dir in about:config after the change.

I checked the bug after installing latest fedora updates and all seems to be working fine.

browser.download.dir /run/user/1000/doc/5ebc4fae/Documents

Although when selecting "Documents" as folder it does not look as pretty as when selecting "Downloads", I don't know if its important .

This will be fixed with this change once xdg-desktop-portal 1.20.0 is released. The Firefox counterpart has been already implemented.
