RESOLVED DUPLICATE of bug 1905622

User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/129.0.0.0 Safari/537.36

Steps to reproduce:

I attempted to launch the todoist panel in thunderbird. I assumed it may be been an issue with the plugin, so I commented out all css and js links. This issue is tracked on the plugin https://github.com/SmBe19/ThunderbirdTodoist/issues/26, but nothing has changed recently so I believe the issue is in thunderbird.

Actual results:

The panel comes up blank.

Expected results:

The panel should have come up with content populated.

Component: Untriaged → Add-Ons: Extensions API

Can you please try Thunderbird Daily where we tried to fix that in bug 1905622? Is it fixed for you there?

If that does not fix it right away, could you then enable the preference extensions.openPopupDelayedFullyLoaded.enabled and try again (in Daily)?

ok, I pulled down a couple of versions:

128.2.3 - Issue still present
131.0b6 - Issue still present
132.0a1.en - Fixed

So, I would agree this is a dupe of https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1905622.

When I saw in your github that you used Fedora 40, I was already very very sure this is the same issue :-)

Thanks for your feedback.
