Perfherder has detected a browsertime performance regression from push aae10b80691af5f907fbf15b3071be6bd1096ffc. As author of one of the patches included in that push, we need your help to address this regression.

Office was only specifying color on its ::placeholder, which means my patch slightly changed rendering, but that's an improvement, not a regression, and matches other browsers.
