User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; Win64; x64; rv:109.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/115.0

Steps to reproduce:

Thunderbird no longer downloads gmail. When it does try it downloads up to 10 copies of every message. Now it says that the gmail account is being processed and can not be opened. If it does start to download messages then it downloads at least 3 of every message and up to 10. I can send a message but am no longer able to download my messages from gmail. It has rebuilt the inbox several times and also compacted the database but does not report any errors. Running the "troubleshooting info" reports no issues.

Actual results:

Opening Thunderbird that auto logs into gmail but it either says the account is being processed by something else or it downloads many copies of the same messages. I still have been unable to download messages from gmail for the last 2 days. I can send messages with no problem but no longer am getting messages from gmail. Sometimes (often) it will take several hours to download 500 messages and at the end will say it lost connection to pop server.

Expected results:

Thunderbird should download new messages from gmail without issue. Is there a size limit to the mail database for Thunderbird? What is that max size? I have been unable to successfully download messages from gmail for a few days now.
