Steps to reproduce:

after update firefox 131.0 (20240923135042) on windows on main version(Release channel users) after each reopening of firefox,its open on new tab below link:
https://www.mozilla.org/fa/firefox/131.0/whatsnew/?oldversion=127.0&utm_medium=firefox-desktop&utm_source=update&utm_campaign=131
Since I also have the developer version , I noticed that the feature of changing toolbar options has been added So I tried to change the options and it worked fine. But after opening Firefox every time, it returns to its normal state
I saw that the link that opens every time says oldversion=127, while my updates are done regularly
its from "update history" :

The bug title says "open new tab after update", but from the description it looks like:
- Firefox looses customizations every time you restart it.
- Firefox opens the same whatsnew tab every time you start it (not just after an update).
Which one is it of the two? Both seem to point to issues on your data that might be resolved by creating a new profile, and importing relevant data from the previous one (e.g. through sync): https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/profile-manager-create-remove-switch-firefox-profiles

I used the new profile It worked,
but I have a question, I have a lot of settings in about:config, how to output them and take them to the new profile
After 24 hours of trying, I finally found the problem😀😀😀
It is related to the user.js file in the profile folder and the following line
user_pref("browser.search.widget.inNavBar", true);
