Details

User-Agent: Mozilla/4.75 [en] (Windows NT 5.0; U) Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.0; en-US; rv:1.2.1) Gecko/20021130 When I turned http and https proxying on, and used Internet Junkbuster, I would jump around between pages and sometimes they would attempt to load the URI from the previous host's IP address. The two I used for testing was http://www.wunderground.com/ and http://www.cnn.com/. But I also had a problem with http://www.google.com/ in the past. When I would go between http and https, the problem would not span the switch between the two protocols. Reproducible: Sometimes Steps to Reproduce: 1. Set "manual proxy configuration" and point http and https to proxy software; in my case, I used internet junkbuster 2. Go to several different locations in different domains, switching back and forth Actual Results: I would get things like the URL would indicate that I was at http://www.wunderground.com/cgi-bin/findweather/getForecast?query=arroyo+grande% 2C+ca but the screen would have rendered in it "Not found Sat, 08 Feb 2003 00:20:11 GMT from server 64.12.174.139,80 The requested URL was not found." That IP is an AOL machine--I had just come from cnn.com. Expected Results: Used the proper IP address for the host in the URL. I did this in a fresh profile. The only things I changed were the bookmarks (I deleted all the original ones and added three that I was using for testing) and the proxy settings. Nothing else. I did have a few other profiles. One of which seems to work fine, but I've never needed to enable proxying on it because I only access things that are one the local network. I've also created and deleted a few profiles, sometimes pulling in netscape profile information.
