Details |
[Affected versions]:
- Firefox Release 131.0.2, BUILD ID: 20241008210941.
[Affected Platforms]:
- Windows 10.
- Ubuntu 22.04.
- macOS 14.4.
[Prerequisites]:
- User is enrolled in the Microsurvey: Search CSAT 2024 rollout.
[Steps to reproduce]:
- Open the browser with the profile from the prerequisites.
- Click the address bar and perform any 2 random searches.
- Perform a 3rd search and observe the behavior.
[Expected result]:
- The search microsurvey is displayed correctly below the address bar
[Actual result]:
- The “Help improve sync in Firefox” microsurvey is displayed below the address bar.
[Additional Notes]:
- Looking at the experimenter page, it would seem that the Localization Substitutions (which are for the sync microsurvey) are currently overwriting the branch configuration.

Hello. We were unable to reproduce this issue anymore in build Firefox Release 131.0.2 (BUILD ID: 20241008210941), using Windows 10. The recipe of the experiment was edited and now the proper strings are displayed for the Search CSAT Microsurvey. Marking this ticket as Resolved > Verified Fixed.
