Before tackling this bug: Stop! Ask yourself, do you need a prologue-less test case, or do you just need newGlobal. I didn't ask myself this question.

Opening this bug mostly to host some patches that I will not pursue unless another use case comes up: But they support having test cases run without having prologue.js run first.
